   Surgery and Orthopedics

Should your pet ever require surgery, we will do our best to ensure that you are comfortable with the process. Prior to any surgical procedure, the doctor will discuss all possible options and together you will choose a treatment plan that is right for your pet.

Once you decide that surgery is your best option, we will provide comfort to you and your pet and frequent communication during the process. We recommend pre-surgical blood work and x-rays to establish a baseline and to make sure your pet is healthy enough for the procedure.

During the surgery, your pet will be monitored closely. Many precautionary steps are taken to ensure your pet's safety and to offer you a peace of mind. You will receive detailed go home information and will have access to our on-call doctors should issues arise.
